History: The Brooklyn Masonic Temple is regarded as one of the most outstanding structures in Brooklyn, New York. The cornerstone to this beautiful edifice was laid in 1907 as an exact replica of King Solomon’s Temple. Only two other Temples of its kind have been erected in the world. One in Colorado and the other in Egypt. It cost four million dollars to complete this art of monumental status. Marble staircases along with Ancient Masonic murals can be found throughout the building.
In October 1977, the Temple was acquired by The Empire State Grand Council A&A.S.R.M., Inc. and opened it’s doors to the public for the first time by making it’s meeting rooms available to different groups on a monthly basis.
The Brooklyn Masonic Temple continues to be available for rent by public organizations as well as intimate functions such as; weddings, receptions, birthdays and various events.
